Hi my name is Keesha Forrest Pananka, I’m a 40 year old mother living in Mandurah with my Partner and Family in Binjerup country and I’m a traditional Aboriginal healer.

I am a Bibblumun, Wonguthaa, Yamatji woman with Dutch Ancestry to the Netherlands.  My Aboriginal bloodlines connect to the NPY lands through Thomas A Forrest and Nyorlingaa, my Badimia through Mary and Lila Malcolm and my Amangoo Nhanagardi Wilunyu, Wattchandee seaside river connections, are through Eelyeemurra (Rosie Coleman), Wenerra (George Ronan) and Sarah Jane Campbell (Ginny of the Irwin and Noogy) of the fork thumb tribe. My Bibblumun bloodline connection to Pinjarra is through my Ancestor Tackett (Dagat) Didaruk and my Menang bloodline connection to Albany is through my Ancestor Mary Madderan.

I was born a Ngankari. I come from a long line of Maarbarn/Ngankari Healers and through out my youthful years I was navigating what that meant for me and for others. My Tjamu (grandfather) seen my Ngankari when I was born, and I was taught things through my growing years.

As I journeyed through my woman hood I was blessed to learn how to use my healing abilities from Senior Aboriginal healers, both male and Female, some my family, some my cultural leaders and mentors.

My traditional practices include energy work to promote healing and well-being, helping people restore harmony within themselves and with the environment. I work with our traditional medicines from the Boodjar/Baarna (land country and water) as I’m guided by Creator, my Elders, and Ancestor’s.

My Ngankari is always with love, and my approach honours the mind, body, and Spirit (Wirn). Having learned from other Ngankari elders and mentors, I am committed to passing on this knowledge to future generations within my family line, as sometimes my family work with me. I have a deep passion to help my mob, and people of all races and Nationalities.

I have lived on and off in Mandurah for over 20 years and worked with youth and community both locally, interstate, rural, remote and Internationally. My vision, is to normalise Aboriginal traditional healing in our Community and Medical Centres. I provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals seeking healing and guidance on their healing journey, and emphasise the importance of self-discovery and personal growth.
